Our consultation call is free, runs about ten minutes, and is a real conversation. Most people use it to walk through what they are noticing and what they have already tried. We listen, ask good questions, and help you decide whether HAVEN is the right fit.
There is no commitment beyond the call. If HAVEN is not the right place, we will tell you. If it is, you leave the call with a clear next step.

When you call HAVEN or arrive for an appointment, Chloe is the person who greets you. As our care coordinator, she handles scheduling, answers questions about your visit, and makes sure you have what you need before and after each appointment.
From your first call, you are speaking with a real person who knows the practice and will help you get started.

We accept cash, check, credit cards, and FSA and HSA cards. HAVEN does not accept insurance. You may request a medically-coded receipt for services to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.

Is HAVEN accessible?
Appointments must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations within 24 hours are charged the full appointment fee. If you have a card on file, that card is charged. If you do not, an invoice is sent. Please let us know as early as possible if you need to reschedule or change your appointment.

If you are more than ten minutes late, you may not be able to be seen, and the reserved treatment time is still charged.

Arrive scent-free, without heavy perfumes or scented lotions, in consideration of others who may have sensitivities. Continue any medications or supplements your physician has prescribed. For acupuncture, eat a light meal beforehand so your stomach is not empty, and plan to skip vigorous exercise for 24 hours after. If you are feeling sick or have a contagious condition, let us know in advance and we will reschedule.

Free parking is available in the Oleander Office Park lot, directly in front of and around our building. HAVEN Centered Wellness is at 4020 Oleander Dr Suite 102, in midtown Wilmington on the south side of Oleander between College Rd (S 17th) and Independence Blvd.

Yes. The pathway from the parking lot to our suite at the Oleander Office Park is handicap accessible, with no stairs or steps. There are two doors along the way that may be heavy or awkward to manage solo. If you'd like assistance with either, just let us know when you book or call us at (910) 622.4269 when you arrive, and someone will meet you at the entrance to help you in.
